Director Of OperationsThe Director of Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities within the assigned region to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of logistics services. This role drives the execution of strategic initiatives, optimizes operational performance, and ensures alignment with company objectives related to growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.This position provides leadership across multiple facilities, ensuring consistent execution of operational standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while building and developing high-performing teams.Operational LeadershipLead regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and delivery performanceDevelop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and service deliveryEstablish and enforce operational standards, procedures, and quality controlsSupport business scalability, strategic planning, and regional growth initiativesPerformance & Continuous ImprovementMonitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including service levels, delivery accuracy, turnaround time, and safety metricsDrive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean practices and process optimizationConduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to maintain operational stabilityCompliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulationsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to workplace safety standardsLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop operations managers, supervisors, and frontline teams across multiple sitesSupport workforce planning, labor relations, and employee engagement initiativesFoster a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goalsFinancial & Cross-Functional ManagementManage operational budgets, authorize expenditures, and ensure financial disciplineCollaborate with Sales, HR, IT, Finance, and executive leadership to align strategies and business objectivesMaintain strong communication between regional operations and corporate leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of logistics or operations leadership experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in Lean, engineering, or continuous improvement methodologiesMinimum 3 years of experience with quality management systemsExperience in labor relations and workforce managementStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze data, manage KPIs, and drive operational performanceProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant operational systemsAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug screeningWork Environment & Physical DemandsCombination of office and warehouse or plant environmentsFrequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and varying environmental conditionsWork environment includes moderate to high noise levelsRequires standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching throughout the workdayMust wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on the shop floor
