Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit in Santa Fe, NM. This travel assignment provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing significantly to patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Obtain and record initial assessments, establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement measurable, individualized care plans within nursing standards of care timeframes.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpreting facts and evaluating patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate care plans.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Current NRP certification required
• INTERMEDIATE AWHONN required
• STABLE required
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
