Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking meals while ensuring kitchen cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. They manage inventory, maintain equipment, and collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes that meet presentation and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Handle inventory and manage stock levels
- Present meals attractively and ensure quality control
- Comply with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Perform regular equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in food preparation
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safety certification
- Strong knife skills
- Experience with inventory management
- Effective time management
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Sanitation knowledge
- Attention to detail
