About the Position

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Perform procedures such as left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, and closure device implantation.
• Operate and maintain hemodynamic monitoring and imaging equipment.
• Set up procedure rooms, ensure sterile technique, and maintain a sterile field throughout cases.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening arrhythmias and cardiac emergencies.
• Support device preparation, contrast injections, and IABP placement/removal.
• Serve as scrub or circulating technologist during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Document patient data and procedural details accurately within the electronic charting system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• One of the following: ARRT(R) or RCIS (CCI)
• Charting System: Any (experience required)
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Dysrhythmia recognition
• IABP setup and operation
• Scrub and circulating duties
• Sterile technique and infection control compliance
