This role involves managing daily activities, coordinating staff, and providing support for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and manage the daily operations of the unit. Ensure compliance with established standards and protocols for patient care. Assist with patient admissions and discharges, including coordination of resources for detox, swing bed, and medical patients. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patient safety and quality of care, addressing any issues that may arise. Provide support during high-acuity situations, including emergency response as needed. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a House Supervisor or RN Manager role. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required. Experience with patients diagnosed with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, and behavioral health issues is preferred. Unit Details Average Daily Census: 19 Total Beds: 25 RN to Patient Ratio: 1:6 during days, 1:7 at night with LPN support. Unit primarily cares for subacute patients requiring rehabilitation, wound care, and IV antibiotic therapy. Specialized equipment available, including bariatric equipment as needed. Respiratory Therapy services available Monday through Friday. Work Environment Night Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15) Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend No formal dress code, scrubs required.
