Location: Gouverneur, NY 13642

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Pay rate: $70 - $78/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Avg. Daily Census: 19
• Beds: 25
• Weekend Coverage: EOW
• Locals Accepted: N - must be > 50 miles.
• Years of Experience Required: 1 yr - House Supervisor or RN Manager experience.
• Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: No
• Patient Diagnoses: CHF, Pneumonia, obs rule out for chest pain, syncope, diverticulitis, cellulitis, COPD, ETOH withdrawal, Opiate withdrawal, debility.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Scattered bed unit that serves swing bed, detox, and medical patients
• Special Equipment: Bariatric equipment rented when needed.
• Hospital has day surgery only, 7 bed ER, 25 bed inpatient unit that serves detox/swing/medical patients.
• RN ratio on inpatient unit 1:6 days 1:7 nights with LPN support to assist with med pass and/or take ALC/swing bed assignment.
• Majority of census is subacute client who require rehab for debility, wound care, long-term IV antibiotic
• No formal dress code, scrubs required
• RT services Mon-Fri 7a-3p only

Qualifications

• Active NY State LPN License — required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
