Regional Account Manager, IgAN Nephrology, Atlanta South, GA
AstraZeneca
Regional Account Manager for IgAN nephrology within AstraZeneca's Rare Disease division, covering Atlanta, Macon, and Columbus, Georgia. Build relationships with healthcare providers across academic centers, hospitals, and clinics while driving sales growth for assigned nephrology indications.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives for IgAN indication in assigned territory
- Develop account-specific business plans reflecting local market forces and referral patterns
- Build and maintain clinical knowledge across nephrology indications and disease education
- Educate clinicians on differential diagnosis, testing, and treatment approaches
- Utilize CRM and AI-driven tools to manage territory priorities and optimize customer engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years pharmaceutical sales, biotech, medical device, or medical setting experience
- Proven track record of top-tier sales results in institutional or specialty markets
- Strong clinical acumen, account-based selling, and strategic skills
- Ability to gain consistent access and build relationships with healthcare providers
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must reside within territory or within 50 miles of geographic border
