Store Manager Trainee

Your natural leadership skills and ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer service make you a strong candidate for Dollar Tree’s Store Manager in Training position. Responsibilities Engage in on‑the‑job training to learn how to manage profitable store operations. Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers. Provide training on operations and merchandising, coaching and correcting associates as needed. Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations. Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures. Perform opening and closing procedures as required. Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters. Help the store reach maximum profit contribution and protect company assets. Maintain a high level of customer service across the store and foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years prior retail management experience (preferred). Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred. Strong productivity management in freight processing. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to work in a high‑energy, team environment. Physically able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
