Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at varying levels, delegating tasks within scope and providing supervision as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care across disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
• Assure patient safety and comfort through accurate assessments, timely interventions, and clear, consistent communication with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care during shift transitions in a fast-paced inpatient telemetry environment.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in California (CA) or eligibility to practice in CA
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment schedule
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to work in an inpatient telemetry unit within a travel context
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• ADN or higher nursing degree from an approved nursing program
