Legal Operations Associate (LATAM)

About the Role We're hiring a Legal Ops Associate to work directly with our founding team, owning case intake and the day-to-day administration that keeps client matters moving. You'll be the first touchpoint for every new case that comes in, and the person who keeps trackers, invoices, and internal processes running smoothly behind the scenes. AI is core to how we work: you'll use AI daily, so knowing how it works is a must. What You'll Do Case Intake & Case Management Own intake for incoming legal cases across Slack and our admin dashboard, ensuring every new submission is acknowledged, triaged, and handled promptly Manage the end-to-end case flow: interact with clients. Coordinate between clients and lawyers throughout active cases: following up, unblocking stalled matters, and keeping both sides informed Maintain case trackers and status updates; prepare end-of-shift handover reports Administration & Operations Assist with lawyer payment tracking and reconciliation Assist with internal reports and business documentation Help coordinate meetings and track project progress across teams Support the development and optimization of internal processes and workflows, flagging inefficiencies as you spot them What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in legal operations, administration, case management, or a similar support role Experience working with or at a US law firm or US in-house legal team (e.g., as a paralegal, legal assistant, case manager, or legal ops coordinator) strongly preferred Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; you'll be communicating directly with clients and lawyers Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reporting Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment Experience with CRM tools and modern productivity tools is a plus Ability to overlap meaningfully with US Pacific Time working hours.
