Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Note: Clinical fellows are not eligible for this position.
• An active Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required to commence the assignment.
• Experience in a large continuing care retirement community or a similar environment that includes inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, and independent living services.
• Familiarity with the NetHealth electronic medical record system.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in treating complex dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders in post-acute and long-term care settings.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in geriatric care environments.

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility within a large continuing care retirement community (inpatient/outpatient/SNF/LTC/IL).
