If this sounds like the choice you want to make, then choose MITRE - and make a difference with us.MITRE’s Multi-Domain Sensing and Electromagnetic Systems Department—within the MITRE Technology and Engineering Mission Center is a broad and experienced team focused on designing, prototyping, evaluating, testing and fielding disruptive solutions in the following technology areas:Antennas and electromagneticsSensors (Radar, EO, IR, Hyperspectral, LiDAR)HF sensing and communications Signal Processing and Algorithm Development Satellite communicationsElectronic Warfare (EW) for radarWe are looking to grow our team and are seeking highly talented and motivated candidates with strong technical skills in these areas.Roles & Responsibilities:Foster and develop innovative, transformational solutions to sensing or antenna related challenges and capability gaps for both fielded and developmental systemsDevelop and utilize code (MATLAB, Python) and commercial software for sensor and antenna design, development, test and evaluation, and performance modelingParticipate in data collections, lab measurements, conduct experiments and perform data analysesEvaluate technologies, identify risks, and develop alternate solutionsBasic Qualifications:Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in math, physics or engineeringExperience with signal processing, sensor data analysis, performing antenna design, or electromagnetic theoryDemonstrated ability to effectively use programming environments such as MATLAB or Python to develop engineering models or analysis tools.Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts simply and conciselyProven experience working on a team and fostering collaborationExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly in technical termsStrong writing and briefing skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements for a clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required.
