Gate Service Driver
We're looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone's journeys better.
Position Summary: Gate Service Driver is responsible for driving a modified golf cart on the airport ramp to provide catering services to airline customers in a timely manner. The Driver must follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts, and aircraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver multiple tasks and delivering them within the assigned deadlines.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime when mandated.
- Arrive to work on-time and in uniform.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Complete paperwork.
- Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatchers.
- Work as a member of a team.
Job Skills:
- Current driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport.
Environmental Requirements:
- Will be exposed to utmost temperature changes and noise.
- Be able to work up to ten (10) feet in the air.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
