Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Overnights - $10K Sign-On

Role Overview Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) – Overnights at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine, Worcester, MA. Full‑time position with an hourly pay range of $45.00–$55.00. The following shift differentials apply where applicable: Days to Evenings: $45.00–$58.00 per hour Evenings to Nights: $48.00–$59.00 per hour Weekend Days to Evenings: $49.00–$61.00 per hour Weekend Evenings to Overnights: $51.00–$61.00 per hour In addition, a $10,000 sign‑on bonus is offered and 100% company‑paid medical coverage up to family coverage is included. Alternatively, employees may opt out of medical insurance in exchange for up to $10,000 in annual additional compensation. Responsibilities Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice. Implement unit policies and procedures and act as a resource to staff. Oversee unit compliance with the Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards. Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement. Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs. Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients. Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit. Coordinate, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelor's degree preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility. Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA requirements and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of Restricted Patient Interaction (CPI) training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
