About This Role The Nursing Manager for Perioperative Services is a designated leader responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Inpatient Operating Room. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Ensure the 24‑hour effective operation of the Inpatient Operating Room. Monitor compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Direct staff in the execution of outcomes‑based practice. Evaluate the level of care provided by the Perioperative Staff. Promote patient satisfaction through data communication and issue resolution. Create and monitor unit‑based indicators for performance improvement. Collaborate with all departments as necessary. Ensure adherence to legal requirements related to risk management and patient rights. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in nursing required; working towards Master's degree preferred. Experience Minimum of 4 years of Perioperative experience required. Licenses & Certifications Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required. CNOR certification or working towards certification preferred.
