Job Description

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will take projects from blueprint to completion, working on railings, stairs, fences, and more. This role involves MIG welding, grinding, and finishing a variety of metals. If you have strong math skills, blueprint reading experience, and enjoy hands-on work, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to fabricate metal structures
• Cut, punch, drill, and weld materials, including steel, aluminum, and brass
• Perform MIG welding (16 gauge – ½” steel) and grinding to high finish standards
• Ensure precision by measuring materials to 16ths of an inch
• Handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and meet company quality standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong math skills, including converting fractions and decimals
• Ability to read a tape measure and work from blueprints
• MIG welding experience required; TIG welding a plus
• Valid WI driver’s license required for insurance purposes
• Reliable attendance is essential

The base salary range for this position is $22+/hr+ $25-35 with piece rate , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
