POSITION TITLE: Sr. Manager, Creative Design & Production LOCATION: Headquarters is in Glendale, CA | Hybrid schedule, 4 days per week in office ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking a detailed driven, hands‑on creative professional to help drive the omni-channel creative vision and lead the execution of packaging and production artwork, promotional assets, and visual content for our haircare and accessories brands. This role is ideal for a strong designer with leadership experience and enjoys balancing technical execution with creative problem-solving in a fast-paced omni-channel CPG environment. As part of the team, you’ll be expected to manage multiple projects efficiently, and contribute directly to design work while overseeing and contributing to production processes. This role requires someone who is a self‑starter that is looking to grow and expand their skill set and take ownership of projects from concept to completion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop omnichannel graphic and digital design assets including packaging, promotional materials, brand assets, and style guides while maintaining brand consistency across all channels. Troubleshoot design challenges and ensure all files are accurate, finalized, and print‑ready. Design, edit, and resize digital assets for web, social, email, and e‑commerce platforms, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. Develop visually compelling still and motion assets (photos, GIFs, videos, animations) to support marketing campaigns and product launches. Prepare and export assets in multiple sizes and formats suitable for various platforms (e‑commerce, social, display). Stay current with beauty design trends, digital innovation, and visual storytelling techniques to bring fresh, elevated ideas to the brand. Lead lifestyle and e‑commerce photo shoots from concept through production, delivering high‑quality, on‑brand imagery for retailer‑specific and standard needs. Drive projects from start to finish, proactively identifying delays and communicating impacts to keep workflows efficient. Mentor junior designers, manage freelance creatives, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure quality and timely output aligned with brand standards. Partner closely with marketing, sales, e‑commerce, and product development teams to ensure all creative assets support business objectives. Participate in occasional calls with international counterparts outside standard office hours as needed. KEY CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS A self‑starter and adaptable thinker who can take initiative, work independently, and pivot quickly in a dynamic environment. Project oversight and efficiency with exceptional organizational skills to manage timelines, workflows, and meet deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with a strong grasp of typography, color, composition, and art direction. Industry knowledge with experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle branding within a CPG environment preferred, and the ability to stay current on design trends and developments. Creative execution and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality artwork, troubleshoot design issues, and ensure accuracy in print‑ready files. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Stay current with digital innovation, and visual storytelling techniques to bring fresh, elevated ideas to the brand. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in creative production, design, or brand marketing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.), digital asset management programs, photo editing, and digital content. Hands‑on expertise in graphic design, packaging, and promotional creative execution. Experience in print production & prepress including the understanding of print processes, die‑line, and color management. Proven ability to balance leadership with execution, working within a fast‑paced beauty CPG environment. All applicants must submit a relevant portfolio showcasing their design work.
