Dispatcher

Full-Time | In-Person Position

Office Solution Group (OSG) is seeking a highly organized and dependable Dispatcher to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating our field and warehouse workforce across multiple active and upcoming projects.

We are looking for someone who is excellent at coordinating people, schedules, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable making adjustments throughout the day as project needs change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch installers, movers, trucks, truck drivers, and warehouse personnel for all straight-time (ST) and overtime (OT) work.
• Develop and maintain daily and weekly manpower schedules, while planning labor requirements several weeks in advance to ensure proper staffing across all current and upcoming projects.
• Monitor daily project progress by communicating with field crews and adjust crew sizes, schedules, trucks, personnel, tools, and equipment as needed to meet project requirements.
• Respond to schedule changes, project delays, cancellations, call-outs, and other field conditions, while maintaining clear communication between field personnel, warehouse staff, and the project management team.
• Be available to remotely handle occasional time-sensitive dispatch changes outside of normal business hours.
• Track company tools and equipment moving in and out of the warehouse using our digital inventory management system, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and ensure equipment is accounted for and returned from job sites.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple crews, projects, trucks, and changing schedules simultaneously.
• Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in dispatching, labor scheduling, logistics, trucking, moving, construction, furniture installation, field service, or a similar industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficient using computers and digital scheduling and tracking systems.
