24-Hour Live-In Caregiver
Home Helpers
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced live-in caregiver to provide 24-hour care and support for an elderly client. The ideal candidate will offer companionship and personal care assistance, ensuring the client's comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
Medication reminders and management
Light housekeeping and laundry
Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed
Provide companionship, engage in conversation, and take on activities to improve quality of life
Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the family or healthcare provider
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver (experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, or mobility impairments is a plus)
Certification in caregiving or related fields preferred (e.g., CNA, HHA)
CPR and First Aid certified
Compassionate, patient, and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to client's needs
[Driving license or own transportation, if applicable]
