About the Position

Locums Assignment Opportunity – Psychiatry

Key Details:

• Patient Load:

  • 1–2 new patient admissions per day (average 6 per week).
  • 4–6 follow-up patients per day.
  • Ample time for charting using EPIC EMR.

• Schedule:

  • 5 days per week preferred, but flexible to 3–4 days minimum.
  • Start date: February 1 (or sooner with a clean file).
  • End date: August (ongoing coverage until permanent hire).
  • 8-hour daily guarantee; overtime starts after 8 hours.

• Daily Routine:

  • Flexible lunch break (typically 12:30–1:00 PM).
  • Weekly 60–90 minute treatment team meeting.

• Environment:

  • Secure office with locked doors and access codes.
  • Panic buttons available for safety.
  • Strong team collaboration.

• Privileges & Housing:

  • Emergency privileges available (1–4 weeks).
  • Long-term housing provided for locum physicians.
