Territory Manager-South St. Louis

Location: Saint Louis, MO (must reside within assigned territory) | Schedule: Full-time, field-based Overview A long-established, family-owned industrial distribution company is seeking a Territory Manager to serve as the face of its mobile sales operation in South St. Louis. The company brings a fully stocked mobile store directly to customers across industries such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, federal/local government, and heavy equipment. This role is central to the company's direct-to-customer sales model, combining relationship-building with hands-on product delivery. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and your mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of your mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Continually maintain customer contact information—including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses—using company software Required qualifications Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis High school diploma or equivalent required Strong, tenured work history with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred Why this role This is an opportunity to run your own mobile territory for a well-established, family-owned industrial distributor serving a wide range of essential industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
