Claims Business Analyst (REMOTE)

Position Summary:

The Claims Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing the residential property claims workflow management system. This role requires a team player with excellent analytical skills, a natural curiosity to understand complex systems, and a strong work ethic. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the claims workflow system is efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Analysis:
  • Analyze existing claims workflow management systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in claims processing.
• Process Optimization:
  • Design and implement optimized workflow processes to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time.
  • Identify automation opportunities within the claims workflow system to minimize manual intervention.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to streamline claims processing procedures.
• System Enhancement:
  • Work closely with IT teams to develop, test, and implement system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Ensure that system changes align with business requirements and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for system enhancements.
• Documentation:
  • Create detailed documentation of workflow processes, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for reference and training purposes.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including claims processors, IT professionals, and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor and evaluate the accuracy and quality of claims processed through the system.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in claims processing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in claims workflow management or insurance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of residential property claims processing systems and workflow optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
