Program Manager

job summary:
Join a growing robotics start up company as a Program Manager for an Engineering Fleet in Salem, OR. The ideal candidate has a technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and experience with planning and managing a fleet. This is a contract role that could extend and possibly lead to a full time role within the company and the opportunity to work in a very exciting industry with cutting edge technology!

responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end lifecylce tracking, state modifications, and configuration management for all physical engineering development assets

• Serve as the single authority for deploying fleet assets to project teams, dynamically reallocating resources to match shifting business priorities

• Act as central communication to gather and align engineering initiatives with organizational goals

• Streamline repair intake, partnering with engineering to triage technical issues, manage maintenance, and maximize asset availability

• Monitor and report on key operational health indicators - including uptime and reliability - to guide long-term fleet strategy and capital planning

Qualifications

• Experience with JIRA

• Planning and fleet management experience

• Hands-on technical experience within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
