This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft. The position is located in St Louis, MO, with a clearance requirement of Top Secret and is a Full Time role.

This is a 100% onsite job. This position involves software development activities that support building and delivering new and innovative software solutions to Aeronautical based applications. Duties will include building AWS services, deep understanding of software languages (C#/Java, Python, Shell), participate in Agile Methodology, perform deployments to multiple dev, test and operational environments, patching, troubleshooting, and working with internal teams and departments.

Core Qualifications:

• The applicant must possess a deep understanding of core AWS services, like compute, storage and be able to develop and deploy core services (Lambda, EC2s).
• C#/Java and JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting.
• This role includes creation and documentation of new and existing functionality within software version control repositories (gitlab) and utilizing DevOps principals and tools to deliver new features within an Agile construct.
• Participate in program Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, Increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration/functionality testing utilizing Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
• Primary responsibilities will involve using cloud computing expertise to provide the system administration and modification of existing GOTS code to integrate open-source software solutions for display in a web application. This role includes API development and database integration for interaction with Redux and React frameworks, using various open-source packages for visualization and data filtering and code modifications that shall apply best practices in unit and build testing.
• Participate and collaborate with team members to assess tickets to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria
• Minimum 3 years of experience with REACT or modern JavaScript framework.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python, C# development framework
• At least 3 years of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and Gitlab version control
• Proactive self-starter demonstrates a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
• Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of related experience.
• Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
• Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
• Active Top Secret willing to take a CI Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

• • AWS Developer Solutions Mindset
  • At least 3 years of experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration
  • At least 2 years of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets
  • At least 1 year of experience with AWS cloud formation templates
  • At least 1 year of experience with Node, NPM, Swashbuckle, REST API, Sass
  • AWS Solutions, Developer, DevOps certification
  • Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• DOD 8570 Compliant Certification (Sec+)
