Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties Perform standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections Perform preventive maintenance Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems, using diagnostic computer when applicable Identify root causes of basic failures or conditions and perform repairs as required Replace defective components as instructed Perform facility maintenance duties Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint when assigned a task Utilize key functions of the shop management system and electronic documentation available Work in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT) Perform other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., Service Island support) Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
