Equipment Associate - ROS

Portable Sanitation Equipment Associate This position is a portable sanitation equipment associate role within Reliable Onsite Services, a division of United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider. The role focuses on ensuring equipment leaving the yard is rent‑ready and meets quality standards. The schedule is flexible, with potential weekend and after‑hours work during busy seasons. Excellence in this challenging role opens opportunities for advancement into Driver and Service Technician development programs. Responsibilities Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment, including inspecting, washing, repairing and/or storing units. General facility maintenance and minor repairs. Loading and unloading of units, either manually or with forklift as required. Use of drill, rivet tool and other hand tools as needed. Ensure supplies are onsite and organized. Load trucks accurately for the next day with all units cleaned and repaired to standards. Set up and maintain yard in clean, organized manner. Maintain inventory spaces, communicate accurate counts to Dispatch. Conduct quality checks on all units and equipment, verifying rent‑ready status prior to loading. Maintain excellent housekeeping of shop, yard and facility. Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency. A valid driver's license. Diligent attention to safety. General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading of trucks. Industry experience is a plus but not required (training provided). Superior customer service and positive attitude. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.
