Clinical Care Technician Post Intensive Care Unit IV Location: Community Medical Center, 99 Highway 37 West, Tom's River, NJ 08755 Position: Part-Time Day shift. Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. This role supports the Post Intensive Care Unit IV staff in providing high quality patient care. Qualifications – Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent. BLS required (American Heart Association). Preferred Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified nursing assistant. Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Essential Functions Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including phlebotomy and EKGs. Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service. Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient care. Participate in collaboration of patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition. Other Duties Other duties of the position may include additional activities as required to provide comprehensive care.
