Associate Project Manager

Job Description: Minimum Qualifications:

Willing to take someone just out of college with the right life science background (must be highlighted on resume to replace work experience) B.S. or B.A. in Biology/Chemistry or other life sciences program

2+ years experience in a Customer-Facing role within the life sciences industry.

Must be familiar with standard and metric weight and volume units Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving. Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

Customers will be ordering in units ( milligrams, vials, kilograms, etc.) - Will need to match up packaging configurations and fill volumes

Support the PMO/Customs (Project Management Organization and Customs) team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, providing customer and commercial project updates.

Have a working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure; buffer formulation, cell biology, chemistry.

Good with Excel, data management, manipulation and reporting Comfortable working in various database systems Ability to focus, not easily distracted Comfortable with change and shifting priorities
