Reference: PR/610613_1789661147Senior Applications Engineer - RF & Microwave ProductsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to support a portfolio of RF and microwave semiconductor products used in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, industrial, and high-performance computing applications. This individual will serve as a key technical resource for customers, providing application expertise, design support, and product guidance for RF diode and microwave component technologies.The role requires close collaboration with customers, product management, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to support product adoption, solve technical challenges, and help shape future product development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to customers through presentations, technical discussions, webinars, and written communications.Assist with product selection, circuit design, system integration, thermal management, and troubleshooting.Design and validate evaluation boards, reference designs, and application circuits.Perform product characterization and RF testing, including high-power measurements for switches, limiters, and related components.Collaborate with engineering teams to define new products based on customer requirements and market needs.Support new product introductions through prototype evaluation and performance validation.Develop technical collateral including application notes, circuit models, datasheets, and presentations.Deliver technical training to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.Support marketing initiatives through technical content creation.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.Travel domestically and internationally as required.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in applications engineering, RF/microwave engineering, semiconductors, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of PIN, Schottky, varactor, and limiter diode technologies.Experience with RF laboratory equipment and measurement techniques.Proven troubleshooting and customer-facing technical support skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.PreferredMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Familiarity with radar, satellite communications, and wireless communication systems.Knowledge of semiconductor reliability and failure analysis.Experience developing customer-facing technical documentation and application notes.Ideal CandidateThis opportunity is ideal for an engineer with a strong RF and microwave background who enjoys hands-on lab work, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
