Skills and Qualifications:Must have Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems and 1-year experience in job offered or in the alternate occupation of software engineering. In lieu of Master’s + 1 year experience, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in above mentioned fields of study and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in software engineering. 5 years of progressive experience must include 1- year in software development including requirement analysis, design, development and unit testing; Creating process models and designing forms using Appian BPM suite capabilities; using JAVA, Eclipse IDE, Java Script and SQL.Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education and training.Job Location:Herndon, VA & other unanticipated locations in the US. May require relocation to unanticipated client sites for short/long-term projects.Responsibilities: Work on designing, developing and unit testing larger complex software Systems and database applications using Appian BPM Suite 6.x, 7.x JAVA, Eclipse IDE, Java Script. Gather business requirements, analysis and design. Involved in all phases of software development life cycle. Design and modify database objects using SQL. Create tables and functions. Integrate application with external third party applications. Create process models, expression rules, Custom data types, design forms using Appian BPM suite capabilities. Create database tables and functions from the SQL database for full life cycle development of Data Warehouse applications. Write stored procedures, Views, Functions and performance optimization of data from database; Create standard guidelines, templates, technical design, test plans and deployment plan using JAVA, Eclipse IDE, Java Script.
