This role involves building and maintaining highly used and critically important cloud-native applications that provide Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and JavaScript development, along with experience in modern software development practices and cloud technologies. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security in all aspects of work.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and JavaScriptBuild and enhance Situational Awareness and Collaboration capabilities for critical systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentImplement and work with microservices architecture in cloud environmentsContribute to the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deploymentEnsure code quality through testing and code reviewsStay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud technologiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement effortsQualifications:Required:Proficiency in Java and JavaScriptExperience developing in a Linux environmentEither a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or graduation from an accredited coding bootcampMust possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and polygraph preferredMinimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experienceMust have or be willing to obtain Security+ certificationStrong knowledge of Java and JavaScript programming languagesExperience with software development best practices and methodologiesDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developersStrong system design and architecture skillsDesired:Experience leading development teams in Agile environmentsTrack record of successful delivery of complex, mission-critical applicationsExperience with Kubernetes or other containerized environmentKnowledge of ElasticsearchFamiliarity with Java Spring Boot frameworkUnderstanding of microservice architectureExperience with Agile development methodologiesAWS developer experienceKnowledge of WebSocket'sExperience with RESTful API design and implementationSecurity+ certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
