Contract | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the full Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic
• Perform peri-operative nursing assessments and deliver patient education throughout the surgical continuum
• Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, initiating appropriate interventions
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation for special procedures as needed
• Float to meet hospital needs within the Outpatient Services department as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong Pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II recovery skills
• Experience with peri-operative patient care and education
• Ability to recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation with a variable schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with endoscopy lab procedures and conscious sedation monitoring
• Familiarity with floating across multiple outpatient surgical service areas
