JOIN THE AWG TEAM WITH A STEADY MONDAY–FRIDAY DAYTIME ROUTINE & WEEKENDS OFF! In this high-impact front-office role, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our Longview branch. You will conduct daily outbound and inbound candidate phone screenings, schedule interview pipelines, greet and check in job seekers arriving for orientations, and collaborate directly with our recruiters and account managers to fill vital regional job orders. Description for Scheduling Coordinator:

• Conduct structured phone screenings with inbound applicants and potential candidates to assess qualifications, shift availability, and job preferences.
• Coordinate recruiter calendars, book in-person and virtual interviews, and manage daily candidate flow through our applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Warmly greet, register, and check in job seekers as they arrive at the Longview office for interviews, paperwork, and onboarding.
• Administer and guide candidates through pre-employment onboarding documents, I-9 verifications, safety orientations, and skills assessments.
• Manage incoming multi-line telephone calls, answer job seeker questions, and route client inquiries to the appropriate recruiter or account manager.
• Assist the recruiting team with proactive sourcing, job board candidate searches, and database outreach to maintain active talent pipelines.
• Maintain clean, confidential candidate records, interview logs, and electronic files with sharp attention to detail.
• Provide general administrative and operational support across the branch to ensure a welcoming, professional office environment.

Details for Scheduling Coordinator:

• Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour .
• Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday (Guaranteed weekday routine with weekends completely OFF!).
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Location: American Workforce Group Branch Office — Longview, WA (Cowlitz County).
• Work Environment: Collaborative, energetic, and professional front-office staffing environment.

Requirements for Scheduling Coordinator:

• Interpersonal Skills: Highly personable, confident, and professional demeanor with a natural talent for building rapport over the phone and in person.
• Office Background: Prior administrative, reception, front-desk customer service, or recruiting coordinator experience is a strong plus .
• Multitasking & Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume phone calls, walk-in traffic, and calendar scheduling simultaneously without losing accuracy.
• Computer & Tech Proficiency: Confident typing skills, comfort working across multiple computer monitors, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and web databases/ATS systems.
• Communication: Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills with strong active-listening ability.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Exceptional history of morning punctuality, dependable attendance, and a positive team-first attitude.
