GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a General Supply Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Duties You will serve as a General Supply Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Requirements Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing general supply support work that requires a knowledge of inventory accuracy requirements, regulations and procedures to manage a warehouse. Specialized experience must include the following: 1) Investigate any and all supply related customer complaints or reports of deficiencies in support of Inventory Accuracy; 2) Maintain current supply resource utilization and internal and external audit reports in order to monitor current and forecasted inventory accuracy; 3) Organize, collect, analyze and present statistical information related to current supply department workload; 4) Utilize supply and inventory programs such as Enterprise Resource Planning and Purchase Request creator to initiate various supplies, materials and/or service to support the warehouse and quality assurance operations Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
