About the Role This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a minimum of 2 years of Texas estate planning, probate, and guardianship experience. The position involves handling a broad range of estate planning, probate administration, probate litigation, and guardianship matters while representing clients throughout every stage of the legal process. The successful candidate will manage estate planning files, probate proceedings, trust disputes, guardianships, and related litigation. Attorneys will represent clients in Texas probate courts, prepare estate planning documents, conduct legal research, and work closely with clients on wealth preservation and family transition planning. This role offers meaningful responsibility within a collaborative legal practice supported by dedicated administrative and billing teams. The position includes a hybrid work arrangement (1–2 remote days per week) as provided in the source. Responsibilities Lead estate planning and probate matters from intake through final resolution. Manage probate litigation, including guardianship proceedings and trust disputes. Represent clients in Texas probate courts during will contests and fiduciary litigation. Draft wills, trusts, estate planning documents, pleadings, and related legal filings. Conduct legal research, depositions, and case preparation. Advise clients on estate planning, wealth preservation, and family transition strategies. Manage an active caseload while providing responsive client service. Qualifications Valid Texas Bar license for a minimum of 2 years in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Texas estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters. Strong courtroom presence and the ability to manage a busy docket. Experience drafting trusts, wills, pleadings, and related legal documents. Preferred: 5+ years of experience in Texas estate planning, probate, and guardianship. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Required Skills Estate planning and probate administration. Probate litigation and trust disputes. Guardianship proceedings. Legal research and drafting. Proficiency with Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, or similar software. Courtroom advocacy and client communication. Organization and case management.
