Customer Service Rep-Parts Roselle, IL, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1034 Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative – Parts is responsible for supporting customers with parts inquiries, orders, and service-related needs. This role interacts directly with customers via phone and electronic communication to ensure accurate identification, ordering, and delivery of replacement parts. The position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while providing a high level of customer service in a technical, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries related to replacement parts via phone, email, and electronic systems. Identify correct parts using parts manuals, system data, and customer descriptions. Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in ERP or order management systems. Provide pricing, availability, lead times, and shipping information to customers. Track orders and follow up with customers on order status and delivery updates. Collaborate with service, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate part identification and fulfillment. Navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers to research and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications. Assist with resolving customer complaints, discrepancies, or order issues. Support continuous improvement efforts related to parts processes and customer experience. Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems Excellent listening, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn technical product information Computer proficiency (ERP/CRM systems preferred) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Positive attitude and strong desire to learn Bilingual preferred (Spanish) Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of customer service experience required (parts or technical environment preferred) Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or equipment-based industries preferred This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent communication with customers, service teams, and warehouse personnel. The role requires regular use of computers, phones, and order management systems. Interaction with warehouse or light manufacturing environments may be required to support parts identification and fulfillment. Compliance with all company policies and procedures is required.
