Guided by values rooted in cultural respect and community strength, THRHA serves southeast communities through affordable housing programs, repair services, and homeownership support that help individuals and families thrive.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Grants Manager provides organization‑wide leadership in grants development, administration, and compliance. - Oversee the administration of federal, state, and other grant programs, ensuring compliance with grantor requirements, program regulations, and internal policies.

- Maintain accurate grant records and reporting systems, monitor grant performance, and support continuous improvement in grant management processes and outcomes.

- A confident communicator and relationship‑builder who can work effectively with executives, staff, tribal partners, and funding agencies.
- A self‑directed leader who manages competing priorities, meets deadlines, and exercises sound judgment while working independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret grant requirements and translate them into clear applications and actionable program guidance.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local grants, including budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation standards.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and formal correspondence.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human services, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including at least two (2) years in public housing programs, community development, or grant‑funded program management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
