The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ development and experience with code migration projects. You will work closely with our technical lead and development team to ensure the quality and accuracy of C++ code, helped by AI tools, and to address any issues that arise during the development process.Your ImpactIdentify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the converted code.Collaborate with the development team to ensure the converted code integrates seamlessly with the new architecture.Provide expertise in C++ to address complex code scenarios.Assist in modularizing the application to microservices.Ensure the code adheres to best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.Document the conversion process and any manual adjustments made to the code.QualificationsSkills & ExperienceProven experience in C++ development.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.Experience with code migration projects, particularly from C++ to other languages.Knowledge of modern software architecture, including microservices and containerization.Experience with databases, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Set Yourself Apart WithExperience with front-end technologies.Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.Knowledge of automated code review tools and static code analyzers.Desirable: Experience with Java development.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proactive mindset with a focus on delivery and innovation.Additional informationAs part of our dedication to an inclusive and diverse workforce, Publicis Sapient is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity without regard for race, color, national origin, ethnicity, gender, protected veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.
