Mizuno USA Job DescriptionJob Title: Sales & Operations Planning ManagerBusiness Unit: Sales & Operations PlanningReports to: Sr. Manager of Corporate PlanningJob Summary:The S&OP Manager is responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process toalign demand, supply, inventory, and financial objectives across the organization. This rolecollaborates closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Procurement teams toensure effective planning, decision-making, and execution that support business goals andcustomer service requirements.Supervisory Responsibilities:•None.Duties/Responsibilities:•Translate business strategies, product launches, promotions, and market developmentsinto actionable demand plans.•Consolidate and analyze demand, supply, inventory, service, and financial performancedata to provide actionable business insights.•Ensure alignment between sales forecasts, production capacity, inventory targets, andfinancial plans.•Drive consensus in forecasting processes to ensure alignment across commercial,operational, and financial functions.•Analyze forecast accuracy, demand variability, and business performance to improveplanning effectiveness.•Identify forecast risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans to support businessobjectives.•Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP process, governance, and planning accuracy.•Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and maintain a rolling 18-month demand forecast and sales plan.•Ensure that the 18-month demand plan is aligned with supply capabilities, inventorystrategies, and financial targets.•Support business unit leaders with performance reviews, gap analysis, and correctiveaction planning.•Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand review, supply review, and approval fromSteering Committee.•Facilitate monthly forecast reviews with each business unit to validate assumptions,market trends, customer demand, and growth opportunities.Form Revision: 1.0 (11/21/2025)Mizuno USA Job Description•Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly business review reports for eachbusiness unit.•Ensure alignment between monthly business performance, forecast assumptions, andS&OP plans.•Present key findings, risks, and opportunities to senior management during monthlybusiness review meetings.Required Skills/Abilities:•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills•Ability to prioritize tasks•Ability to function well in a high-paced sometimes stressful environment•Proficient with Microsoft ExcelEducation and Experience:•Bachelor's Degree (Business/Supply Chain preferred)•Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience•Experience in a consumer goods and/or sporting goods environment preferred•Experience in an overseas import environment•Experience in a high SKU environment (800-1,000 styles)•Oracle Cloud & JD Edwards experience preferred.Physical Requirements:•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.About MizunoMizuno Corporation was established in Osaka, Japan by Rihachi Mizuno in 1906.
