Job Description Registered Nurse We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) located in Chester NJ. This role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Medical Director, providing high-quality nursing care to patients within the scope of licensure. Responsibilities:
- Complete nursing assessment and nursing plan of care upon admission
- Complete weekly nursing assignments and pain assessment
- Administer all medications.
- Work closely with the Medical and Psychiatric provider in carrying out all orders.
- Schedule appropriate appointments (e.g., lab, radiology, bone density) for the patients
- Evaluate all weekly lab results and communicate them to Medical/Psychiatric provider.
- Work closely with the clinical team in implementing treatment interventions.
- Provide meal support to patients.
- Provide psychiatric support.
- Converse with family members
- Maintain timely documentation within the EMR.
- Dispense medication according to sound practices.
- Communicate in real time with various department personnel.
- Maintain a positive team atmosphere and approach within the treatment setting.
- Valid New Jersey RN state license
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; ADN, BSN or AAS degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, eating disorders and working with adolescent populations is preferred.
