Role Description The Associate will be a full‑time team member based in Paramus, NJ, supporting one or more of the firm’s practice areas. Day‑to‑day responsibilities may include researching and analyzing laws and regulations, drafting memoranda, pleadings, motions, contracts, and other transactional, litigation or labor documents. The Associate will attend client meetings while coordinating with senior attorneys to develop strategies and prepare legal opinions. The role involves close collaboration across practice groups, managing deadlines, organizing matter files, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. The Associate is expected to contribute to high‑quality, practical legal solutions that advance client objectives. Qualifications Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, including the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents and memoranda. Experience or coursework in one or more relevant practice areas (e.g., litigation, real estate, municipal law, environmental law, corporate law, public finance, or labor and employment). Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent professional communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and government or regulatory entities. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within cross‑practice teams and to contribute to innovative, practical solutions. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New Jersey Bar (or eligibility and intent to obtain NJ admission promptly). High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to client service and confidentiality.
