Nurse Practitioner -Neuro Oncology

This is an amazing opportunity for an Adult Neurology NP to be part of the UCLA NeuroOncology. The NeuroOncology Program at UCLA aims to improve the lives of patients with brain tumors by developing new therapies and providing expert clinical care. This is accomplished through basic science in neuroscience, genetics, immunology, highly advanced neuroimaging, novel therapeutic trials and a full spectrum of clinical care from inpatient to unique outpatient programs. NeuroOncology patients are seen by dedicated specialists with decades of combined experience and/or fellowship training in the diagnosis and treatment of this difficult disease. UCLA is a designated NeuroOncology Comprehensive Care Center. The NP will see patients under broad supervision of physician, addressing medical issues, monitor MyChart and other messages for triage and management, segway with neuro clinic on administration and authorization, oversight of IV infusion treatment order placements, refill prescriptions and triage with physician if and when dose changes are needed.
