Registered Nurse Coordinator Surgical Specialties - Operating Room - Days

**Hourly Pay Range:**$40.45 - $62.70 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Registered Nurse Coordinator - Operating Room* Location: Glenbrook Hospital* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time* Hours: Monday-Friday -either 0600-1430 5-days per week or 0630-1630 4-days per week* Additional Coverage: Available by phone for emergencies and may assist in the cardiovascular institute**What you will do:*** Coordinates the care for the operating room surgical patient population* Manages staff schedules and patient assignments* Works closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff to ensure safe and quality care of the surgical patient* Coordinates specialty cases with RN surgical specialists* Monitors and maintains the quality of the intraoperative patient population by ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.* Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to surgical specialties, collect and analyze data, and implement strategies to enhance patient care outcomes.* May cross cover in the cardiovascular institute**What you will need:*** Bachelors Degree Nursing Required* 3 Years of clinical nursing experience, with surgical specialty experience preferred.* Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
