Job Description The Technical Sales Representative for ANI / RVI products is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for a defined territory, promoting and demonstrating the company's products and services with the goal of attaining a sales target. The representative must be knowledgeable of all product features and able to effectively demonstrate them to customers. Key responsibilities include: Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss sales opportunities daily in the assigned territory. Follow up on all leads provided. Prospect and cold-call to identify new business opportunities. Prepare timely quotations in coordination with sales engineers and support staff. Coordinate closely with Wabtec colleagues to align overall selling efforts. Improve the sales plan, schedule full coverage, maintain high in-field time, and continuously enhance product presentation skills. Respond to customer phone calls and emails promptly. Use the EVIDENT CRM package for daily tasks and reporting. Complete periodic sales reports, calendar events, and opportunity management. Coordinate sales to key accounts within the territory and with key account managers. Participate and present in local professional organizations. Operate within the Wabtec Code of Ethics policy. Learn and apply the Miller Heiman strategic selling methodology. Attend various sales meetings. Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory. Education Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent sales experience. Experience Minimum 1+ year experience in high-end capital equipment sales or similar selling skills and training desired. Required Qualifications Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn scientific principles and technology of the equipment. Preferred Qualifications Sales territory management experience. Self-directed, highly motivated, strategic thinker. Compensation The total compensation range is $120,000 to $210,000, inclusive of base salary (or annualized hourly compensation) and uncapped commission incentives. Actual pay may vary based on training, skills, experience, education, business needs, market demands, and location.
