Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will work independently to assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions for school-aged children. Your focus will be on improving speech and language abilities while collaborating with families and educational teams to support individualized learning and communication goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver evidence-based intervention to improve communication skills
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
- Work closely with families and school teams to support child development
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in speech language pathology
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Proficiency in speech and language assessment techniques
- Knowledge of child development principles
- Experience with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools
- Strong skills in therapeutic intervention planning
- Effective communication with children and families
- Empathy and problem-solving abilities
