Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly grant invoices and financial reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, funder requirements, and internal accounting policies. Manage month-end and year-end grant accounting close processes and reporting deadlines. Review grant expenditures, receivable balances, and general ledger activity for accuracy. Supervise and support the grant accounting team with budget modifications and reporting. Coordinate grant audit preparation and documentation with senior finance leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 5+ years of nonprofit grant accounting experience. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience managing Federal, NYS, NYC, and private grants. Experience reviewing grant-funded invoices and financial reports.
