Sealcoat Foreman

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Sealcoat Foreman to lead our sealcoating crew in the preparation and application of asphalt sealant on driveways, parking lots, and roadways. The Sealcoat Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily job site activities, managing crew performance, ensuring quality work, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects efficiently from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a crew of sealcoat laborers and equipment operators Ability to manage multiple crews at a time Plan and coordinate daily job site operations, including material loading, crew assignments, and equipment setup Perform pre sight visits prior to starting a job – barricading jobs if needed Perform post site completion visits to the job – removing barricades if needed Ensure proper surface prep, crack filling, sealcoat application, and striping (when applicable) Monitor quality of work and ensure consistency in sealcoat thickness and coverage Communicate with customers or site contacts to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns Train and mentor crew members to improve safety, productivity, and workmanship Maintain accurate daily reports, crew timecards, and project documentation Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after each shift Enforce safety policies and ensure all crew members wear required PPE Troubleshoot issues on-site and coordinate with management as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
