Travel Sonographer - Perinatal Center

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel Sonographer with a focus on OB/GYN to join our Perinatal Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert sonography services and ensuring optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sonographic examinations, including detailed fetal anatomy and 1st trimester assessments.
• Perform biophysical profiles (BPP) and Doppler studies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret sonographic findings and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to protocols and practice standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification is required.
• Experience with detailed fetal examinations is essential.
