As an Associate Software Engineer , you'll work on the software that powers our high fidelity flight and mission simulators - adding new capabilities, modernizing existing systems, and helping deliver the realism that keeps pilots mission ready.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

What You Bring:

• A BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong communication, teamwork, and the confidence to collaborate with engineers at all levels.

• A mindset built on ownership, accountability, and the drive to keep learning.

• Sharp analytical thinking and problemsolving instincts.

• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access; U.S. citizenship required.

• Willingness to support occasional overtime, shift work, weekend work, and CONUS travel.

• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing, testing, and debugging software - via coursework, projects, or internships.

• Familiarity with tools like GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, or Atlassian (school or project experience counts!).

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

• Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility.

• Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.

• The employee is on call 24x7 for the resolution of problems and issues.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to perform normal office duties (e.g.sitting for long periods at a desk)

• Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS via car and airplane

• Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a simulator

Salary Range : $86,900 - $96,100

The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidate's work experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and market.
