TRUST AND ESTATES ATTORNEY

BINGHAMTON, NY

Fusco Personnel is conducting a search on behalf of a well-established, highly respected full-service law firm seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its growing Binghamton, NY office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term career with a collaborative regional firm that offers sophisticated legal work, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path for professional growth. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of trusts and estates experience, although attorneys with other levels of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advise clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies. 
2. Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related estate planning documents. 
3. Handle estate and trust administration matters from start to finish. 
4. Counsel clients on elder law and long-term care planning. 
5. Develop and implement special needs planning strategies. 
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication. 
7. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions. 
8. Travel occasionally to branch offices to meet with clients as needed. 

Qualifications

1. Admission to practice law in New York, or eligibility for admission by waiver. 
2. Approximately 3–5 years of experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, or related practice areas preferred. 
3. Strong experience in estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, and/or special needs planning. 
4. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
5. Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 
6. Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines. 
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. 
8. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. 

Compensation & Benefits

1. Salary: $90,000–$130,000/year, depending on experience.
